The venue for our Beekend is the beautiful Ekergarden

EkerGarden was originally built as a stable for powerful horses. The place lies by the foot of the island Sotra´s highest mountain 20 km west of Bergen city in quite natural surroundings and in the heart of a wonderful and easily accesible hiking terrain with the sea and the mountain nearby.

Eker Garden means the garden of God...

20  min.  tar  det  å  kjøre  bil  fra  Bergen  S.  Bystasjon og  ut  hit
I ukedager går der buss i ytre linje mel. Flesland Flyplass og Sotra
                                                                      (se nederst på siden)
                                            
*         Riksvei 555 Sotra. Over Sotrabroen. Etter ca. 5 km passeres
*        Straume/Sartor Senter. Fortsett ca. 2 km på 555 over Bildøy
*        Ta av til V. - Gule Skilt : LIE - før  tunnel - Følg skilting LIE
*        Ta av til V. - i skarp H.-sving i oppoverbakke (Bildøybakken)

Fra svingen er det 2,3 km til avkjørselen til EkerGarden
Skilting LIE og DØSJEVEGEN  -  ned til båthavn der
Døsjevegen går over i EKRHOVDVEGEN, forbi Sementstøperi
Oppoverbakke, flate. I nedoverbakke ;
se til H. etter hvitt hus med stort hvitt plankegjerde
Veien opp til EkerGarden tar av rett før gjerdet

English :
From Bergen S. you drive on road 555 to Sotra. About 5 km after crossing Sotra bridge,
you pass a big shopping centre on the left (Sartor Senter) Apprx. 2 km further
on the same main road 555, you see a yellow sign : LIE/Bildøy. Turn LEFT there
- That narrow road is some hundred metres before a tunnel (Kolltveit tunnel)
You should not drive through the tunnel - 
After about 50 m on that small road, sign LIE, you turn RIGHT crossing a small bridge
Drive uphill a bit, and in the sharp curve, you take the road to the LEFT, again sign: LIE
Our road is 2,3 km from there
You are now driving on DØSJEVEGEN, shifting into EKRHOVDVEGEN at the harbour
Pass a cement factory, drive a little uphill, and then straight ahead
As the road goes downhill again, on your RIGHT hand side you see a small house with
a big, white fence around. Sign on the fence in rainbow colours : EkerGarden. Roadsign :
KYRKJELEDVEGEN. Our road takes you up passing the garage, and turning slightly right,
you find a rather large parking place up by the big, dark brown House
Entrance down the stone stairs. WELCOME !
