What is the Human Design System?

You’ve heard of astrology...
You probably know your sun sign and have some idea of how it says something about your basic character. There will be many of you that know more than this. There will be those of you who know your rising sign and maybe even what sign your moon is in, for example. You will perhaps know something of your transits – the awareness that the movement of the planets over time brings certain opportunities and challenges into your life.

Knowing how the planets impact your life can certainly be useful in understanding yourself and your life, according to this ancient system.

The Human Design System is relatively new by comparison. Just as you can have an astrological chart based on your birth date, time and place of birth, the Human Design System can also use this data to generate a unique chart for you – what we call the bodygraph.

This unique and powerful system of knowledge is a synthesis of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah and your genetic imprinting. It not only tells you about your personality in great detail, it also enables us to look at the fundamental motives and urges that run your life – aspects that you may not even be aware of.

Very specific knowledge about each individual person, about their health, their personal psychology, their talents, their vulnerabilities and their gifts can be known.

This system is the only privately owned science in the world. It has an immensely practical application that has been tested by thousands of people all over the world for many years. Those who experiment with the information it provides find it simplifies life and helps to restore a sense of purpose and meaning that can so easily be forgotten in the busy, complicated lives we all live in the twenty first century.

Genetics
The ancient revelation of the I Ching has a direct relation to modern day genetics. This aspect of the Human Design knowledge enables us to be specific as to your personal genetic formula. Yes, YOUR personal, unique code – not a generalised commentary on the cracking of the human genetic formula you’ve heard about from the scientists. This information is about YOU as a unique being.

If you take a look at the bodygraph on this page you’ll see there are nine centres (the squares, triangles and diamond). These, along with the numbered gates in the centres represent your mind, your emotions, your heart, and your intuition, as well as the rhythms and patterns, which govern your life.

Human Design is practical and logical.

It can give you a strategy for living your life authentically.

So often we live blindly, getting into relationships, jobs and setting up home without any real idea of who we are – although we all think we know that. How could we not? You may think. Well...

Well... we’ve reacted to those around us, we’ve listened to them, we’ve watched our own behaviour in many different circumstances. But none of that reveals our blueprint, none of that experience explains anything, it simply gives us an impression of who we are.

The simple fact is that we are ruled by our chemistry, the genes run our lives without us even knowing it.

Think of the strongest sexual chemistry you’ve ever had with another:
Were you in control of your life then?
Did your liaison with them lead to a happy life?
Have you ever wondered why you enjoy the company of some people but not others?

The Human Design system can tell you why you’re with the people you’re with. It can tell you what you’ve always been seeking in your life. The truth is: we’ve been conditioned by our parents, our friends, our work colleagues and those around us so much that we’ve become out of touch with our authentic self.

The Human Design system isn’t about imposing some false idea onto us, and it’s not about changing who we are, rather it a fabulous tool to enable us to recognise who we’ve always been.

Why am I so certain? I still remember the first reading I ever had. It took me completely by surprise. It was a true reflection of myself.
